Ethics for Publication
The Light Explorer adheres to ethics standard set by the global academic community and ensures that these are maintained by the editors, authors and reviewers. The journal’s editors and reviewers are required to assess manuscripts fairly and maintain confidentiality. Authors must also ensure that an article submitted is an original work and is not under consideration or had been accepted for publication elsewhere.
Summited manuscripts are checked for plagiarism with an anti-plagiarism software to make a reasonable effort to determine the compliance of the author(s) to academic integrity . The authors have the ultimate responsibility for the originality and academic integrity of the manuscripts submitted.
Likewise, the authorship credit should be based only on:
- substantial contributions to conception and design, or acquisition, analysis or interpretation of the data for the work;
- drafting the work or revising it critically for important intellectual content;
- final approval of the version to be published, and;
- agreement to be accountable for all aspects of the work in ensuring that questions related to the accuracy or integrity of any part of the work are appropriately investigated and resolved.
