ABSTRACT

This study aims to assess the implementation of boxing courses in relation to students’ satisfaction in colleges and universities in Heilongjiang Province. A descriptive-correlation design is utilized in this study. The quantitative method determines the profile of the participants, the extent of implementation of the boxing course, and the level of satisfaction of the students in the boxing course. There are 104 participants from four universities selected through stratified random sampling. Findings reveal that the extent of implementation of the boxing course is moderate regarding the attainment of objectives, course content, activities conducted, availability of resources, and performance assessment. The students’ satisfaction level with the boxing course is also moderate. There are no significant differences in the extent of implementation of the boxing course as assessed by the two groups of respondents, and there are no significant differences in the level of student satisfaction with the boxing course when grouped according to profile variables. Participants identify problems and challenges in implementing the boxing course, encouraging the researcher to develop an action plan.
