ABSTRACT
This article elaborated on the theoretical basis of innovation and entrepreneurship education from the perspective of related policies. It analyzed relevant policy documents, regulations, and planning materials, and presented the experiences of innovation and entrepreneurship education in various countries and renowned universities worldwide. The researcher used a survey questionnaire to select representative universities in Guangdong Province for innovation and entrepreneurship education. From the perspectives of resources, activities, and support, the extent of implementation and the participants’ level of satisfaction with innovation and entrepreneurship education policies in higher education institutions in Guangdong Province, China were assessed. Additionally, favorable and hindering factors of these policies were also documented which served as baseline data in coming up with a plan of action.
