ABSTRACT

This study aimed to examine the relationship between the extent of implementation of business-level management strategies—specifically cost leadership, differentiation, and customer intimacy—and the performance of Foshan Stable Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd., in Guangdong Province, China. A mixed-methods research approach, combining both quantitative and qualitative designs, was employed. The findings revealed a significant correlation between the degree of strategy implementation and the company’s performance, indicating that greater implementation of business-level strategies is associated with higher performance levels. In particular, strong emphasis on cost leadership contributed to improvements in internal business processes, learning and growth, and customer intimacy. Despite these positive outcomes, the company faced challenges during strategy implementation, prompting the development of a proposed action plan.
