ABSTRACT
This study investigated the relationship among students’ sports healthcare practices, healthcare behavior, and physical fitness at Dongguan Vocational and Technological College. A mixed-method research design was employed, with quantitative approaches serving as the primary method. Freshmen, sophomores, and juniors participated in the study. The findings indicated that students demonstrated a high level of sports healthcare practices. They also self-reported a high level of healthcare behavior and physical fitness. Moreover, significant correlations were found between students’ sports healthcare practices and both their healthcare behavior and physical fitness. Overall, the results underscore the value of integrating sports healthcare education into student development programs, as such initiatives may foster healthier lifestyles and support improved academic and personal outcomes.
