ABSTRACT

This study aimed to investigate the relationship between the extent of implementation of financial management strategies, such as capital structure planning, capital budgeting, and working capital planning, and the performance of Xiao Mi Company in terms of customer satisfaction, internal business processes, learning and growth, and financial aspects. This paper adopted a mixed research approach that utilized both qualitative and quantitative methods. A total of 240 participants, comprising the manager and employees of Xiao Mi Company, were included in the study. Results showed that there is a positive correlation between the extent of implementation of financial management strategies in capital structure planning, capital budgeting, and working capital planning, and the level of performance of Xiao Mi Company. This means that the greater the extent of implementation of financial management strategies, the higher the level of performance of the company. Moreover, the company significantly implements financial management strategies in capital structuring, capital budgeting, and working capital planning. However, despite these positive findings, Xiao Mi still encountered some problems and challenges in the implementation of its financial management strategies. Therefore, a plan of action was proposed to help the company improve the implementation of financial management strategies and enhance performance.
