TRADITIONAL AND MODERN APPROACHES IN PUBLICGOVERNANCE IN GUANGDONG PROVINCE

ABSTRACT

This study investigated the traditional and modern methods of public governance in Guangdong Province, China. The research shows that in the traditional model, public governance in Guangdong Province highly relies on government leadership, promotes economic development and infrastructure construction through administrative means, and emphasizes the role of grassroots organizations in social management. Since modern times, Guangdong Province has actively innovated and presented diversified characteristics in public governance methods, guided by innovation driven approaches and utilizing technological means to enhance governance efficiency.
