ABSTRACT

This study designed and developed an online drug sales information management system for Jiangmen Polytechnic. It solves the problems of low efficiency, safety hazards, and inaccurate information transmission of traditional manual drug sales, improves drug information retrieval and sales efficiency, and provides safe and convenient online drug purchase services for teachers and students. The system adopts a B/S architecture with front-end and back-end separation and is developed using Java and Spring Boot frameworks. The main functions of users include registration, login, personal information management, drug browsing and purchase, detailed medication guides, etc. Administrators can manage user data, maintain drug information, and process orders to ensure that the entire sales process meets regulatory standards. The proposed system was evaluated against the IS0 25010 Standard for software quality and was found to be compliant to a “very great extent” in terms of the following criteria: functional suitability, performance efficiency, compatibility, usability, reliability, security, maintainability, and portability.
