ABSTRACT
Greenhouses are crucial for vegetable production, but managers face challenges like lack of expert advice and poor decision support. Traditional systems are costly and lack scalability, making real-time monitoring and control difficult. This reliance on experience, rather than data, risks inconsistent yields. Data security is also a concern, with potential data loss affecting decision-making and optimal environmental control for vegetable growth stages. This study designed a new Greenhouse Control System for the Longsheng base, using Cisco Packet Trainer and Arduino Uno to upload temperature, humidity, and lighting data to OneNet cloud for analysis. This system aids in optimizing environmental factors for vegetable growth, enhancing greenhouse control system capabilities and their practical applications.
