ABSTRACT
This study aimed to assess the extent to which Huawen Enterprise Image Design Co., Ltd. implements operations management functions. The study employed a mixed research design, combining both quantitative and qualitative methods to evaluate the company’s operational management implementation across seven areas: operational planning, finance, product design, quality control, forecasting, strategy, and supply chain management. Data were collected through survey questionnaires and interviews with company employees. The research results show that Chinese enterprises perform well in operational planning but face certain shortcomings in finance, product design, quality control, forecasting, strategy, and supply chain management. Significant differences were found in the assessment of operational management among employees of different ages, genders, years of service, and positions. The main issues faced by employees in implementing operational management include balancing long-term plans with short-term operational needs, reconciling financial stability with investment in innovation, maintaining product innovation competitiveness, ensuring product quality consistency, improving the accuracy of market change predictions, and aligning strategic and operational capabilities. Based on the research results, this article proposes a series of improvement measures, including introducing advanced planning and scheduling technologies, strengthening financial supervision, and utilizing innovative technologies to improve productivity and customer satisfaction. These measures aim to help Chinese enterprises enhance operational efficiency and market competitiveness.
